PERFORMANCE MTB UK...who are we?
We are a husband and wife team (Andy & Nik) who live, love and breath everything to do with mountain biking, it’s our passion, our hobby and now it’s our small, independent, family-run business. We are based in the East Midlands we run the majority of our skills and fitness courses in full cooperation with the Forestry Commission at Sherwood Pines Forest Park in Nottinghamshire. Our Wilderness courses and guided rides take place in the outstanding natural beauty of the Peak District National Park.
We both work full time in the NHS so for the time being PMTBUK is run during our spare time at evenings and weekends.

We believe in Sport for All, that everyone should be able to get the most enjoyment they can out of their riding, have the opportunity to develop, grow and #bethebestyoucan. It doesn’t matter what you ride, it’s how you ride that matters.
We have over 20 years’ combined experience in 'modern' mountain biking and have been riding bikes for far longer than we dare to admit. We’ve ridden across the length and breadth of the UK at trail centres, through barren wastelands and across private estates taking parting part in events that encompass the vast variety of MTB activities and challenges.
From 24 hr Cross Country races through staged Enduro events to Charity MTB sportives we have experienced them all. What we love and enjoy the most is sharing our passion with others, helping them to grow, develop and experience the amazing feelings lifestyle benefits that riding can bring, this is why we lead and coach, plain and simple.
